Extremely sad to hear that my old friend Donny Allen passed away. Donny was one of the best guitarists in Detroit, a Les Paul and Marshall guy all the way. Smokin’ player!!! He was best known for his time playing in Halloween, one of Detroit’s best metal bands ever. I’d run into him at shows around town, always great to hang and catch up. Hadn’t seen him in a while.
